THE HISTORY OF NORDHAVN POWER SOLUTIONS A/S

In 1944 Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S was established as a service workshop for fishing and shipping
vessels in Aarhus – giving solid and experience  and expertise since 1944 !

The company was following bought by Jens Hultmann in 1947.

Nordhavn was the first company outside of Sweden to become retailer for Scania* Marine and Industry and have been since 1959.

In 1970 Nordhavn became retailer for Valmet, which later became SISU and now is known as AGCO – SISU Power*.

The facilities in Aarhus were eventually too small, so by the fall of 2010 the company moved their location and facilities to Nikkelvej 17 in Randers.

In 2013 the company became retailer of Twin Disc* gear with exclusive distribution.

Kent Kirk acquired Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S in 2017. They still own the company and have hired Søren Rasmussen to lead the company as CEO.

In 2019 they entered a retail agreement with French engine brand Baudouin.

In 2023, Nordhavn Power Solutions A/S became a distributor for FOGO, a renowned manufacturer of diesel generator sets.
