Reparations for APM Terminals

In our field, you can’t be afraid of heights, and you must be ready for new and exciting tasks every day, whether they involve marine or industrial work.

APM Terminals – Cargo Service A/S needed a repair on one of their straddle carriers and contacted us for the job.

On a straddle carrier, the engine sits about 14 meters above ground, which requires a lift crane to perform the work.

Our technicians, René Falk and Mikkel Fast, began with troubleshooting the engine. After that, the engine was disassembled, the engine block was cleaned, cylinder heads were replaced, and valves were adjusted.

Once reassembled, the engine was started up and tested for leaks to ensure everything was in perfect order.
